Founded in 2019, by Anamika Sharma , ANA.S DESIGNER LABEL is a mindful and responsible brand that translates India’s treasured Textile Heritage and handcraft into contemporary luxury. Our ethos is summed up in two words—”Local Swag”.
Based in Pune, Maharashtra, we craft limited‑edition sarees by working shoulder‑to‑shoulder with Gond tribal artists,Hand block‑printers, Handloom weavers and Embroiderers. We serve growing global clients who appreciate craftsmanship, culture, and conscious design.In 2023, we introduced our sister brand, HandiTales — a curated line of brass jewelry shaped by skilled Indian artisans and with a deep respect for artisanal skill, the brand offers jewelry that is both elegant and meaningful.

OUR FOUNDER
ANAMIKA SHARMA —- “ During my childhood, most afternoons , my mother turned the house into a tiny atelier— embroidering , stitching frocks for us. I used to sit closeby, ,helping her out by my tiny hands or filling my sketchbooks with colours.
Zero waste was practiced in my house when I could not even spell that word properly. I did not find those lessons in design textbooks; I absorbed them at her elbow.
Around 2006, I discovered the captivating indigenous tribal art form of Madhya Pradesh—Gond Art—and instantly fell in love with its intricate beauty and storytelling charm.I travelled to various parts of India to observe the Indian craft closely. Journeyed to the tribal village of Patnagarh to meet gond artists. Drove to Chanderi near Bhopal , Kolkata ,Sanganer and Bagru . Each journey deepened my appreciation and understanding of these crafts and the communities that keep them alive.”

Our Founder Anamika Sharma ,born in rolling tea state of Assam and raised across diverse corners of India , She completed her schooling in Bihar, pursued Fashion Designing degree with scholarship in her hometown Bhopal, and later earned an MBA degree at Pune—blending creativity with business acumen.That constant immersion in diverse cultures shaped an artist’s eye long before it shaped a designer’s resume.After working for nearly six years in a UK-based corporate firm, she made the bold decision to leave behind a high-paying role and step back to her first love,into the world of Designing. She then spent over eight years working with a leading Indian luxury clothing brand, heading a production unit of over 250 employees. This immersive experience gave her deep insights into the workings of a designer clothing house—from artisanal detailing to client servicing and factory management.In 2019, driven by a long-held dream and equipped with a wealth of experience, she launched her own “ANA.S DESIGNER LABEL”.
